Senior Systems Project Engineer

Job Description

The role is to act as the technical interface with the Design Authority for weapons system equipment, ensuring alignment with system performance and project commitments. It involves coordinating work packages with internal and external suppliers to develop products on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Responsibilities include developing requirements with stakeholders, supporting design lab activities, and overseeing the delivery and acceptance of Weapon System products.

This includes delivery of the Command and Control Processing Unit, associated consoles, and racks, focusing on hardware delivery, physical certification, and an understanding of the sub-systems operation, including software components.

Main responsibilities :

• Manage the Technical Requirement Specification of the equipment
• Capture transversal engineering stakeholder needs
• Understand the ability to trade requirements for cost and schedule
• Develop and understand interface specifications
• Manage technical interface with the Equipment Design Authority, including acceptance of the equipment delivery
• Support equipment integration at the system level
• Manage the Statement of work of the equipment.
• Lead the technical progress meetings and milestone reviews with the supplier
• Have an understanding of Unit Production Cost for the equipment.
