Healthcare Assistant – Hospital Wards Bath Locum Dream Medical are working with a Hospital in the bath area and require an experienced Healthcare Assistant to cover regular ad-hoc sessions within a 28 bedded ward which provides rehabilitation and care to elderly patients.

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene care
• Reporting and observing the patient's condition, and recording on the appropriate charts
• Maintaining dignity and confidentiality at all times
• Answering enquiries from relatives and patients
• Advising patients and offering emotional support
• Dressing changes for wounds
• Blood taking for samples
• Various swabs and urine samples
• Referrals to appropriate departments
• Blood pressure and glucose monitoring

All applicants must have at least 6 months experience of working on a Hospital ward and the clinical skill sets mentioned above.

You will need an Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
