Band 5 A&E Nurse - Consistent Block Booking Shifts in NHS

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate A&E Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment and triage of patients arriving at A&E.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in line with NHS standards.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
• Support patients and families during stressful and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification with NMC registration.
• Previous experience in A&E is essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Flexibility to work long days (Monday to Friday and occasionally on weekend work as well)
