Site Assistant

A secondary school in Bath is seeking a dependable and proactive Site Assistant to support the day-to-day operation and upkeep of the school premises. This is a full-time permanent role starting in January and would suit someone looking to develop experience within site and facilities management.

You will be responsible for :

• Supporting the maintenance security and general upkeep of the school buildings and grounds
• Assisting with routine health and safety checks inspections and compliance tasks
• Carrying out basic repairs maintenance work and site tasks as required
• Supporting site opening closing and security procedures
• Assisting with deliveries room setups and preparation for school events
• Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure site standards and compliance are maintained
• Responding promptly to site-related issues during the school day

• A positive Ofsted rating and clear operational expectations
• Well-organised site operations and effective systems
• Supportive leadership and a collaborative working environment
• A strong focus on health safety safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Well-maintained buildings grounds and facilities

• Previous site caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
