Madigan Gill are looking for an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team for an 8-week assignment at a school in Bath, BA2. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in building maintenance, who is ready to ensure the school's facilities remain safe, clean, and well-maintained. The successful candidate will need to undergo a DBS check due to the nature of the environment.

General maintenance of school facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs.

Regular inspection of the building to identify any maintenance needs.

Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.

Liaising with school staff to address any urgent repair or maintenance requests.

Assisting with the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including grounds maintenance when required.

Maintaining stock of supplies and equipment, ensuring safe use and storage.

Proven experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role, ideally in an educational or public sector setting.

Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical systems, and repairs.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to react quickly to urgent maintenance issues.

Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a variety of people.

DBS check required (we will facilitate this process).
