Chef de Partie
University of Bath is looking for a talented Chef de Partie passionate about food and eager to bring creativity and skill to our menus. This full‑time role (5‑over‑7 contract) offers a lively kitchen environment with diverse dining experiences.
What You’ll Do- Take ownership of your section and lead by example.
- Mentor and support junior kitchen staff.
- Work alongside a team of six Chef de Parties, with guidance from our Sous Chefs and Head Chef.
- Contribute ideas to evolving menus.
- Deliver high standards every day through hard work and dependability.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with the kitchen brigade and wider catering team.
- Handle challenges professionally, staying calm and solutions‑focused.
- Stay organised and positive during busy service times, thriving under pressure.
- Prepare for the next shift and keep the kitchen running smoothly during quieter periods.
