Commercial Account Manager
Location: Bathgate (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: Up to £29,500 DOE
Bonus: Annual performance bonus up to 10%

We are looking for a commercially sharp Account Manager who understands that every lead has a value and every conversation is an opportunity to drive growth.
The RoleAs a Commercial Account Manager, you are the front line of our business. You will manage a portfolio of existing home improvement clients (window installers, solar installers, roofers, etc.), ensuring their advertising campaigns are converting into revenue.
Because we work on a revenue share basis, you need to be more than just "organised"—you need to be commercially obsessed
. You will monitor the "health" of your accounts daily, ensuring the lead flow is high-quality and that the client is equipped to close the deals we send them.
- Commercial Growth: Manage and scale existing accounts by identifying where we can drive more volume and higher revenue share.
- Lead Quality Feedback Loop: Act as the critical link between the client and our technical team. You’ll take feedback from the client’s sales floor and work with our specialists to refine targeting.
- ROI Management: Since we win when the client wins, you will constantly monitor campaign performance to ensure the "maths" of the revenue share works for both parties.
- Consultative Success: Advise home improvement business owners on how to better handle the leads we provide to maximise the conversion-to-sale rate.
- Relationship Retention: Build deep trust with business owners, ensuring We Are Kindling remains their most valued growth partner.
- Experience: 1–2 years in Account Management. Experience in lead generation, recruitment, or a high-pressure sales environment is a major plus.
- Commercial Mindset: You understand the difference between a "lead" and a "sale." You can talk comfortably about margins, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Home Improvement Knowledge: (Desirable) Understanding the sales cycle of home improvements (e.g., surveys, quotes, installations) is a huge advantage.
- Communication: You must be able to hold firm, professional, and data-backed conversations with busy business owners.
- No Tech
Required:
You don’t need to build the ads, but you must be able to explain the results of the ads fluently.
- Skin in the Game: Work in an environment where your impact is visible and rewarded.
- Pure Account Management: No cold calling and no technical campaign setup. Focus entirely on strategy and commercial success.
- The Package: Salary up to £29,500 DOE + 10% performance bonus.
- Hybrid Flexibility: 3 days in our Bathgate office, 2 days from home.
