  • Take ownership of project planning, scheduling, budgets, and risk management.
  • Coordinate internal teams including engineering, service, and commercial functions.
  • Manage external subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee electrical and mechanical installation activities, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with health & safety standards, including RAMS and site compliance.
  • Track project progress, produce regular updates, and manage change control where required.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and final documentation handover.
  • Represent the business professionally on customer sites and in meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within generators, power generation, CHP, or electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong electrical bias, with a good understanding of LV/HV systems, controls, and power distribution.
  • Experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects involving mechanical and electrical scopes.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confident working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Professional, customer‑focused approach with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend meetings as required.
Package & Benefits
  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
  • Company vehicle or car allowance.
  • Paid overtime and travel expenses.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Long‑term, stable role within a technically focused and growing business.
  • Opportunity to work on a wide range of generator and distributed power projects.
