Traffic Marshall

Are you an experienced and vigilant traffic marshall looking for a demanding and critical role on a major project? We are recruiting reliable individuals to manage vehicle and pedestrian movements on a large military construction site near Leeming.

Key Responsibilities

Directing and managing the movement of construction vehicles, deliveries, and plant safely across the site.
Controlling access and ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter restricted areas.
Liaising with site management and security teams to manage delivery schedules.
Maintaining clear communication with vehicle drivers using clear hand signals and radio contact.
Monitoring pedestrian routes and ensuring segregation from vehicle traffic.
Promptly reporting any traffic incidents, hazards, or concerns to the site manager.

What You'll Need

A valid CSCS card is mandatory.
An accredited Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification or ticket is essential.
Previous experience working as a traffic marshall, ideally on a large or complex site.
Experience or comfort working within a secure or military environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional demeanour.
A strong commitment to Health and Safety procedures.
