Estimator – Bedford

Salary: £65,000 + Benefits

Working hours: 8:30‑5 Monday to Thursday and 8:30‑4:30 Friday

You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate, well‑thought‑out tenders for general contracting schemes in the £1–5m range. Working closely with a skilled commercial team, you’ll ensure bids are competitive, detailed and aligned with client expectations. You will be working across new build and refurbishment schemes.

• Prepare and submit tenders for projects across education, leisure and commercial sectors.
• Work collaboratively with the commercial team to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Contribute to the company’s ethos of delivering quality and value.

• 4+ years’ experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Relevant construction qualification.
• Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work 8‑5 in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
