About the Role

As a Flat Roofing Estimator, you ll play a key role in preparing accurate estimates for refurbishment projects and mentoring junior estimators. You ll work closely with surveyors and project teams to deliver competitive tenders and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Core Hours: 8:00 am 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
Location: Bedford Head Office

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for a range of tenders
• Supervise and mentor junior estimators
• Collaborate with surveyors to interpret tender documents and evaluate quotations
• Attend site visits during tender and delivery stages
• Report directly to the Estimating Director
• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiently

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in flat roofing and refurbishment projects
• Strong estimating and pricing skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to deliver competitive tenders
• Valid driving licence
• DBS (to be obtained by the company)
