Your New Role

The Evergreen Editor is a meticulous and performance-oriented individual who leads the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of a large portfolio of high-impact pages. In this role you’ll be essential to maintaining and expanding the long-term visibility and commercial value of 100+ evergreen pages within our media network. Reporting to the Content Lead, you’ll be the dedicated owner of this content set and responsible for its performance across SEO and affiliate KPIs.

With access to a team of contractors and freelancers, you’ll oversee both the creation of new content and the enhancement of existing assets, ensuring each page continues to drive value in a competitive search environment.

What you’ll be working on
  • Portfolio Ownership
    :
    Manage a portfolio of 100+ commercial pages, ensuring each page is regularly updated, optimized, and aligned with business goals.
  • Performance Tracking
    :
    Define and monitor KPIs for individual pages and the portfolio, develop reports and make data-informed recommendations for iterative improvements.
  • Content Lifecycle Management
    :
    Build and maintain an editorial calendar for updates and rewrites, ensuring high-performing pages are nurtured and underperforming pages are addressed proactively.
  • Content Development
    :
    Oversee the creation of new evergreen content and rewrites of existing assets, with a focus on maintaining Google rankings and meeting SEO standards.
  • SEO & Best Practices
    :
    Ensure all content adheres to SEO, content quality, and commercial integration best practices. Work closely with SEO teams to adapt to evolving algorithm changes.
  • Team Oversight
    :
    Brief, review, and manage the output of freelance and contract writers and editors, maintaining quality control and editorial consistency.
  • CMS Expertise
    :
    Develop deep knowledge of our Word Press CMS, and ensure optimal use of templates, modules, and on-page elements that support both user experience and monetization goals.
  • AI tool mastery
    :
    Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Air Ops, Surfer SEO, and others) to create and refine content briefs, outlines, and optimization recommendation.
  • Edit and Updates: Edit, fact-check, and polish AI-generated content to meet editorial style, SEO best practices and ‘humanized’ content standards.
  • Improve workflows to master efficiency: Use established or create new AI-workflows to support the scaling of content production.
A little bit about you and your qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in content management, SEO content editing, or affiliate content strategy in a competitive industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing performance-focused evergreen content portfolios.
  • Strong command of SEO fundamentals, including on-page optimization, internal linking, keyword targeting, and content health monitoring.
  • Experience using CMS platforms (preferably Wordpress) to manage and update content at scale.
  • Proven ability to brief, manage, and QA content from multiple contributors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret content performance data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Familiarity with content and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, and Screaming Frog.
