Engineering Project Manager

We are pleased to be working with our client seeking a Engineering Project Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Summary of the Engineering Project Manager role

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, 100% office based
Hours: 37.5 - hour working week, Monday - Thursday 08.15 - 16.45 Fri 08.15 - 13.45
Benefits: 25 days holiday, Holiday Purchase from 2025, Pension Contribution 5%, Life Assurance 4 x annual basic, Employee assistance , Early finish Friday

Responsibilities of the Engineering Project Manager

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver pump station and pumping
• Ensure full compliance with scope
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and risk registers
• Maintain required CDM documentation
• Coordinate design, procurement and manufacturing
• Produce and maintain SLT project reporting
• Develop accurate forecasting and planning

Requirements for a successful Engineering Project Manager

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Full UK driving licence
