Senior Process Engineer

FLI Water is expanding — and we’re looking for a talented Senior Process Engineer with a strong background in municipal wastewater projects to help us deliver innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions across the UK.

From £100K refurbishments to £6M turnkey projects, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning process systems that improve water infrastructure and protect the environment.

• Lead process design from concept to commissioning
• Prepare P&IDs, mass balance diagrams, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients
• Support pilot trials and new technology assessments
• Deliver operator training and manage commissioning activities
• Mentor junior engineers and enhance internal design tools

• Degree in Engineering or Science + 5–10 years’ experience
• Chartered or working towards Chartered status
• Strong background in municipal wastewater projects
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Full UK driving licence
