A leader in the automotive testing business this local firm based in Bedford are looking to increase their existing team

Unique Employment Services Ltd are currently recruiting for a Battery Test Technician on behalf of our client based locally in Bedford.

This well established company who have a strong reputation within their field are currently recruiting within their battery test technician team.

• Operate battery testing facilities
• Basic facility breakdown diagnostics
• Be able to operate basic tests of automation set up and configuration
• Ensure operating procedures are all in place and followed

• Key skills this company are looking for are being aware of electrical automotive high voltage, able to complete mechanical assembly, ability to read and understand schematics and proficient in used Microsoft Office applications.
• Ideally for this role you will have a qualification within Engineering or an extensive background in automotive engineering, automotive repair or heavy truck electronics.
• We are looking for a motivated team player that has flexibility to travel for business and that can achieve SC clearance (lived in the UK for the last five years) A full UK driving license will be needed and you must be able to undergo a criminal record check.

Salary for this position is £35, and there is a rolling shift pattern.
