Improvement Delivery Lead – Bedford Borough Council

Overview: Bedford Borough Council are seeking an experienced professional to lead and coordinate the delivery of our post-Ofsted improvement programme for Children’s Services. The role involves managing complex projects, driving progress against clear milestones, and ensuring statutory compliance.

Responsibilities: You will lead the post-Ofsted improvement programme, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, analyse data, produce high‑quality reports, and present findings to senior leaders and external partners. You will manage change and deliver measurable outcomes within Children’s Services or Education contexts.

Qualifications:

• Strong programme and project management skills.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
• Strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement across multi‑agency settings, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in managing change and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Experience of successful improvement work within Children’s Services or Education.
