Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, Golf Now, Golf Pass, and Sports Engine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content.

The primary function of the Senior Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Manager aka Senior BIM Manager is to oversee the integration of virtual design and construction technologies to optimise project delivery and foster collaboration across all stakeholders, ensuring the successful efficient execution of projects through their lifecycle. The Senior Manager, serves as strategic leader for the project team, ensuring that VDC processes are continuously utilised to meet Universal standards and expectations.

The Senior VDC Manager acts as the liaison between the project team, design, construction, and other stakeholders, while also ensuring effective coordination, collaboration, and delivery of a high-quality, on-time, and on-budget project.

• Project Development: Lead and oversee the implementation of VDC processes and standards. This includes managing access to the VDC database to ensure that all design and construction activities align with project goals and objectives
• Technical Expertise: Serve as the lead point of contact regarding Universal Creative’s VDC standards and processes for the project team, ensuring that the project outcomes reflect the vision, goals, and requirements of Universal Creative
• Collaboration & Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate and optimise VDC tools into project workflows, facilitate coordination, and resolve conflicts early in the design and construction phases
• Training & Support: Spearhead training initiatives for project teams and stakeholders on VDC tools and technologies, ensuring successful adoption and application throughout the project lifecycle
