Day shifts Were recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and an eye for detail to produce new moulds to customer specifications, as well as maintain and improve existing tooling.

Key Responsibilities Tool Manufacturing:
Produce patterns/models of required parts from various materials (wood, modelling board, metals) to meet customer specifications, working from technical drawings, templates, or existing foam samples. Mould Production:
Create moulds using wet lay or cast resin methods and finish to a high standard, including hand polishing. Assembly & Fitting:
Fit pins, frames, and other components into moulds as required, and carry out welding to finish moulds when necessary. Finishing Work:
Apply paints or sealants where required to prepare moulds for production. Maintenance & Repairs:
Diagnose and repair moulds either in place on the track or in the workshop; carry out modifications or adjustments to support production efficiency.

Collaboration:

Work closely with sales and production departments on new product development, providing technical input and support for quoting new tools. Workshop Management:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised tooling workshop, adhering to all Health & Safety standards. Team Contribution:
Take on additional responsibilities as required, supporting the wider team and fostering a culture of collaboration.
