Assembly Operator - PSJ Fabrications - Bedford
PSJ Fabrications, a Wood subsidiary company, is recruiting for an Assembly Operator to join our Sheet Metal Fabrication team based in Bedford. This is a temporary role for approximately 9‑12 months, required to start as soon as possible.

The RoleThe Assembly Operator will carry out fitting tasks in assembly, assisting to create finished products. This role requires working with machinery and tools to assemble parts and components, predominantly for use within the nuclear sector.

- Complete all work scopes communicated by the line supervisor in accordance with work pack / job card instructions
- Ensure the safe execution of all activities
- Support overall delivery of company goals and schedule
- Maintain awareness of the physical condition of plant and equipment to ensure technical integrity is maintained
- Maintain awareness of personal safety, that of others and risks associated with the scope
- Previous experience within assembly (ideally within a fabrication environment)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
