** Job Accountabilities
*** Coordinate the purchasing, receiving, storing, and issuing of parts and materials.
* Support Engineering Coordinator and learn according to an agreed training plan every aspect of the engineering administration
** Key Responsibilities
*** Conduct COSHH risk assessments on any new substances and update existing COSHH risk assessments when a new SDS is issued.
* Assist with training out of new/reviewed department Risk Assessments and SSOW
* Ordering of stock and monitoring deliveries and receipt for Bedford (this will extend to other sites when the Coordinator is absent). This includes site consumables such as stationery and canteen supplies.
* Putting delivered stock away whilst ensuring items are added to the stock sheets
* Arranging contractors/service visits to site as needed.
* Ensure contractors provide RAMS and liaise with engineers to permit when on site
* Stock updates – update stores sheet weekly to reflect what has been received or booked out.
** Candidate Profile
*** Previous experience in an administrative role
* Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent* ### Good level of English both written and spoken* ### Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiently* ### Have a full clean driving licence and have own car* ### Must be able to reliably commute to place of work and /or other sites if required to do so within the role* ### Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
### Able to demonstrate initiative, decision making and self-motivation.###
