Pay Rate: £25, 000 - £27, 000 (dependent on experience)
Grade: RCS O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
Location: Derby - DE74 2BB

We're now looking for a Co-Pack Quality Technician to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards by performing inspections, maintaining compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across our co-pack operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure customer standards are met and comply with Quality Systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and support external auditors during inspections
  • Monitor and calibrate measuring equipment, escalating any non-compliance issues promptly
  • Drive corrective actions for product quality issues and complete root cause analysis for customer complaints
  • Promote a clean, safe working environment and assess supplier compliance with quality requirements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Previous experience in a quality-focused role (essential); experience in food manufacturing or co-pack environments is an advantage
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage files and records effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and explain methodologies and work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to interpret written, spoken, or diagrammatic instructions accurately, combined with strong problem-solving skills
  • Confident in engaging with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain high standards
