Assistant Manager

Overview

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager, influential in creating vision, developing the business and delivering a first-class experience for all.

Position

You will support the GM in the overall day-to-day running and management of the entire retail function, to drive excellence in food and drink delivery and guest experience to maximise profitability within the venue.

Naturally, you will be expected to deliver against the key measures of sales, profit, stock, team retention and guest satisfaction, as well as adhering to all legislative requirements for people, safety and licensing.

• Lead and manage daily retail operations, ensuring high quality food and beverage delivery and exceptional guest experience.
• Drive sales, profit and stock performance, maintaining profitability and meeting key performance indicators.
• Recruit, train and retain a motivated team, leading by example and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Collaborate with the GM on strategy, vision and growth opportunities.

• Operations – experience as an Assistant Manager in a volume business.
• Events experience – interest in managing big events and private booking while ensuring smooth business operations.
• Sales & Marketing – ability to network locally to create in-demand experiences.
• Entrepreneurial flair – knowledge of market, competitors and customers to drive sales opportunities.
• Passion for Beer – knowledge and passion for beer, ensuring it is high on the agenda.
