Job Overview
We are looking for a great Key Accounts Manager to join our highly successful team. The role covers the whole of the UK and requires a current driving licence, willingness to travel and spend time away from home as needed. You will develop and nurture long‑term relationships within a portfolio of nominated key accounts and prospects to ensure RTUK is well‑placed to maximise volumes and margins on vehicles in line with the current business plan.
Relationship management is not limited to sales negotiations; you will also be actively involved in ensuring customer satisfaction across all aspects of the business relationship by working closely with all other departments to ensure proactive management of all interactions and resolution.

- Maintaining correct levels of contact with the respective dealers to provide professional support to the key accounts and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction are met.
- Providing concise reports on all key fleet activities, including forward order predictions, market information and highlighting potential sales opportunities.
- Utilising the Company’s integrated suite of IT tools effectively to ensure swift and accurate responses to quotation requests and transfer through the sales “stages” to build, deliver and invoice.
- Negotiating agreements with the portfolio of accounts and working collaboratively with other departments to meet customer needs.
- Ensuring successful application and continued fulfilment of signed agreements, in terms of delivery of vehicles into service; securing appropriate aftermarket support; evaluating customer satisfaction; and developing and implementing corrective action plans where necessary.
- Experience in high‑value sales and knowledge of complex commercial sales offers.
- Proven experience in relationship management with a good general knowledge of legal and financial rules associated with key account protocols.
- Ability to present and communicate at all levels and with all audiences.
- Commercially aware and able to demonstrate strategic thinking ability.
- Great negotiator who can rely on influence to gain commitment from other business areas.
- Full UK driving licence and comfortable with regular travel.
