Job Description / Duties:
We are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing depot-to-depot trunking work based in Bedford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out trunking deliveries and collections between depots, ensuring all journeys are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with road transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete depot-to-depot trunking deliveries and collections.
Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time.
Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Maintain accurate driving and tachograph records.
Represent the company professionally at all times.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday.
Days and backshift available.
Start times between 08:00 and 22:00.
Overtime available after 42 hours.
Pay Rates (PAYE including holiday pay):
Days: £18.63 per hour.
Nights (22:00–06:00): £21.09 per hour.
Overtime: £25.42 per hour after 42 hours.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
Must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Good driving record.
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
Additional Information:
No handball required.
Ongoing, consistent Monday-to-Friday work.
