Management Accountant

We are looking for a fully qualified Management Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to join a fast-growing business and support the Finance Director in delivering accurate and timely management accounts. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys core management accounting but is also looking to develop as the finance function and business continue to expand.

You will take ownership of day-to-day management accounting activities while benefiting from clear opportunities for growth and progression as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and supporting schedules.

Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Own the month-end close process and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Support budgeting and forecasting through accurate data preparation and analysis.

Prepare management reports and variance analysis for review by the Finance Director.

Support cash flow reporting and short-term forecasting.

Assist with year-end processes, including statutory accounts and audit support.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting as the business grows.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Fully qualified accountant or finalist (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.

Strong technical understanding of management accounting and month-end processes.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Confident Excel skills and experience with finance systems.

A proactive approach and willingness to take on increased responsibility over time.
