Vehicle Technician– Leeds

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, saturday mornings as required(42.5 hours per week)
Salary: 37,570

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our client’s reputable site in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of light commercial vehicles. This role requires a solid understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues.

Mechanic Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and solutions
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised
Stay updated with the latest vehicle technologies and repair methods

Mechanic Requirements:
Previous experience as a vehicle technician or relevant qualifications
MOT qualification is a strong advantage
Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Own set of tools
