Commercial Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to support our commercial team in driving growth and efficiency within our food manufacturing business. This role will provide administrative, analytical, and customer support to ensure smooth operations across both the commercial function and wider organisation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with a strong desire to develop their commercial understanding, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Supporting the sales team with customer quotes, orders, forecasting and contracts
• Acting as a key point of contact for customer queries and building strong relationships
• Preparing reports, forecasts, and insights to help drive business decisions
• Coordinating with production and logistics to make sure customer orders are delivered on time
• Keeping commercial databases and price lists up to date
• Assisting with marketing activities, product launches, and customer presentations
• Supporting the Marketing team by gathering insights on external markets
