Engineering Coordinator

This position is well suited to a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer from a Minerals or Coal Project Design background, with experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments, who is looking to progress into a broader Engineering Coordinator role.

The role provides the opportunity to expand from discipline-focused work into project-wide coordination, planning, reporting and cross-disciplinary technical oversight.

This is an in‑house, Jakarta‑based coordination role supporting the Company’s engineering and site activities.

Engineering Degree (Civil/Structural preferred; Mechanical acceptable with strong Civil/Structural exposure).

Design background with practical site / project experience.

Minerals project experience, preferably in Materials Handling Systems, Minerals Process Plants and supporting infrastructure (design and field experience).

Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in the last 10 years.

ESDM POP certified (current or able to complete/update rapidly).

Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering tasks and willingness to coordinate across all engineering areas.

Capacity to work effectively to deadlines.

High attention to detail across project documentation and reporting.

Good English (verbal and written).

Professional, pleasant personality with a disciplined, organised work approach.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Office located at Grand Galaxy City, South Bekasi—candidate must reside within a reliable daily commuting distance.

Appointment subject to passing a Company Medical Test.

Leading project planning sessions and assisting in the development of engineering execution plans.

Coordinating technical project teams, including Design Engineers, Site Engineers, Technical and Administrative staff (Jakarta Office and project sites as required).

Managing project manpower, progress and preparing effective verbal and written reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensuring projects meet deadlines, Technical & HSE requirements and Quality targets.

Managing daily interactions and relationships with Clients, Contractors, Consultants and Vendors.

Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, best industry practice and Company procedures.

Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation actions in coordination with the Project Manager.

Supporting process improvement initiatives and promoting an organised, efficient approach to engineering coordination.
