Packaging Operator & Maintenance Superintendent Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all activities of the packaging personnel during operations, ensuring that the department objectives are achieved in conformance with plant, division and corporate policies, approved production forecasts, established programs and schedules, product quality standards, and budget limitations.
• Plans and implements production schedules in coordination with other departments (Brewing, Log-Product Supply Operations, PQA and Engineering).
• Provides technical advice on production technical matters such as deviations from standards, and seeks advice on unusual technical production problems.
• Reviews and analyzes production, maintenance and other operation reports to ensure optimum operating efficiency and provides recommendations whenever necessary.
• Initiates and actively recommends the purchase and/or requisition of direct manufacturing supplies, and other materials to be used in packaging.
• Ensures that activities pertaining to good housekeeping, safety and sanitation are carried out within the department.
• Monitors and controls expenditures of the area.
• Encodes SAP production documents such as production orders, goods issues, goods receipts and settlement for each production order.
• Ensures the development, maintenance and availability of operation records and proper safekeeping of classified or confidential data.
• Oversees audit and implementation of corrective actions on the following programs:
  Enercon, Safety, Sanitation and Productivity Improvement.

• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Good understanding of all aspects of packaging operations.
• Vocational course graduate majoring in Mechanical Technology.
• Two (2) years of experience in welding and/or machining jobs.
• Two (2) years of experience in pipe-fitting works.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Computer literate.
