Essential Criteria

Description

The Development Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support across the Lyric’s Development Department during a period of increased fundraising, heritage and campaign activity. Working closely with the Head of Development & Marketing, the Fundraising Manager and the Heritage Manager, the post holder will support fundraising, development, heritage and campaign delivery through accurate data management, administrative coordination and practical assistance.

  • Provide administrative support across fundraising, development and campaign activity, including fundraising bodies, individual giving, trusts and foundations, corporate partnership and fundraising events.
  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the Fund for the Future fundraising initiative
    , including coordinating meetings, diary management, agendas, papers, note-taking and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate donor and supporter records within Spektrix or other fundraising CRM systems, ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency and compliance.
  • Support the establishment, review and ongoing use of fundraising records, systems and processes, including maintaining donor pipelines and contact histories.
  • Assist with fundraising reporting by preparing data, summaries and schedules for internal, senior management and funder reporting.
  • Support the administration of the Lyric+ Membership scheme, including data management and supporter communications.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to support accurate recording, coding and reconciliation of fundraising income.
  • Support the coordination and administration of fundraising events, donor cultivation activity, meetings and briefings, including guest lists, invitations, logistics, scheduling and follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support for campaign, donor and partner meetings, including diary coordination, documentation and action tracking.
  • Assist with the preparation of funding applications, donor materials, presentations and campaign documentation.
  • Support procurement, supplier administration and project logistics in line with organisational processes.
  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for fundraising and campaign activity.
Heritage project administration
  • Provide administrative and practical support to the Heritage Manager in the delivery of the 3-Year Heritage Project, including cataloguing support, data entry and record keeping.
  • Support the updating and maintenance of heritage and production archives, including research and documentation.
