The Corporate Affairs function are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. Help us deliver projects that make a real difference. In this role, youll keep stakeholders informed and engaged on our Capital Schemes, working closely with teams across the business to ensure smooth delivery and clear communication. Youll create engagement plans, lead meetings, turn complex details into simple messages, and gather feedback to improve our approach.

As our Corporate Affairs Advisor you will:
Be the voice of clarity help stakeholders understand the benefits and progress of our Capital Schemes by supporting the Corporate Affairs team. Work collaboratively across teams, including Capital Delivery, Streetworks, and Brand & Communications, to ensure projects run smoothly and communications are consistent. Create and deliver stakeholder engagement plans that keep everyone informed and address concerns quickly and effectively. Develop engaging materials with our communications team that align with our brand and make complex information easy to understand.

Lead and coordinate stakeholder meetings, from planning and preparation to presenting clear, actionable updates. Turn technical details into compelling narratives, showing the positive impact of our schemes on local communities. Gather and act on feedback, embedding insights into future engagement strategies for continuous improvement. Take ownership of your work, using initiative to find the best way forward and achieve outstanding results.

What skills & qualifications you will need:
Extensive experience in public affairs, either within an agency or in-house environment, or strong transferable skills. Deep political awareness with excellent understanding of local and national government structures and processes. Exceptional writing ability, capable of producing…
