Business Analyst

MCS Group is seeking to connect with an ambitious Business Analyst with experience of delivering software development projects for a key client of theirs. Well established in Belfast, this firm specialises in driving digital transformation for their customers (who sit across both public and private sectors) through innovative software solutions - operating on a global scale. The Business Analyst will join their business at an exciting time of expansion for the organisation locally and will have the opportunity to deliver projects for a diverse customer base.

The Role

• As a BA in this organisation, you'll work closely with clients and internal teams to turn complex needs into clear requirements
• You’ll run workshops, map processes, and produce solid documentation
• You’ll support the design, delivery, and rollout of new and existing software solutions
• You’ll collaborate with project managers, developers and testers to ensure projects land smoothly
• Help shape acceptance criteria, support UAT, and keep communication flowing
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the BA function

What you'll bring:

• You’ll have solid experience as a Business Analyst in IT/Technology ideally with a focus on software.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience with agile and/or waterfall delivery
• Proven ability to handle complex projects and produce high-quality requirements
• Nice-to-haves: BA certifications, enterprise software experience, or familiarity with regulated environments

Other details:

• Must have 5+ years continuous UK residency (for SC-clearance requirements)

Salary

Up to £50,000 with free parking when in the office, enhanced pension contribution, annual bonus, private medical and dental.
