MCS Group has a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join a progressive and dynamic company that values innovation and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a forward-thinking team where their skills and ideas will be valued.

We are working alongside a leading fit-out contractor based in Greater Belfast area to recruit an Estimator.

In this role, you will play a key part in the commercial success of projects by delivering accurate and timely estimates. The company puts people and quality at the heart of everything they do, delivering high-quality interior and fit-out projects across retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.

• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and detailed take-offs for labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits and source, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify risks, value engineering options, and cost efficiencies to enhance project value.
• Support tender submissions, client presentations, and collaboration with project teams to align estimates with delivery.

• Flexible working hours (core hours 10am - 2.30pm).

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication.
