Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the estimating of a wide range of electrical control panel equipment across a range of sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, motor control panels, plc equipment and instrumentation panels. The Control Panel Estimator will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret client requirements from drawings or tender specification to produce detailed estimates.
- Ensure all supplier costs are accurate, market-competitive, and aligned with project specifications and timelines.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids within specified deadlines.
- Minimum of 2 Years experience as an electrical estimator or similar role in a Panel building environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installation methods, preferably having completed a relevant apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in procurement or supply chain management will be an added advantage.
£30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
