The Buildings Unit (BLD) has a major presence in Mott Mac Donald’s regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross‑sector skills across five key Sectors;
Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water. We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors.

As a Electrical Building Services Engineer in Mott Mac Donald, you will work in world class teams to design and deliver cost effective, innovative and sustainable solutions on local and international projects.

You will be responsible for delivering functional design solutions on projects across our built environment sector, ensuring that we create a visually appealing and comfortable environment, using our ingenuity, in both our own disciplines and in integrated thinking.

You will deliver solutions that address the challenge of ever‑increasing social need at a time of decreasing resources as well as the essential need to reduce carbon emissions, and as the digital revolution is applied to the provision of essential services, mechanical, electrical and building services engineering will play a central role in creating the smart infrastructure for our sustainable future.

To deliver on this, you will need to show leadership in technology, in both design and construction processes, working collaboratively across the Group and with our project partners. The Mott Mac Donald community is at the heart of this endeavour, join in and make a difference.

We are ideally looking for experienced graduates, with an Honours degree in one of the following subjects:

• Electrical engineering
• Architectural engineering

You will have:

• Methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing
