Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £35,000 £ 42,000 (DOE) The Opportunity An established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support the delivery of clean and wastewater infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured site team working on technically challenging and meaningful infrastructure schemes. You will play a key role in site delivery, working closely with subcontractors, clients, and internal support functions to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Interpret construction drawings and communicate layouts, dimensions, and specifications clearly on site Carry out accurate setting out, including lines, levels, and reference points Support site management in driving programme performance and meeting deadlines Liaise effectively with subcontractors, clients, and the wider project team Ensure SHEQ standards are upheld at all times, with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance Contribute to the implementation of best practice and continuous improvement on site Comply with company systems, procedures, and information management requirements Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required Whats on Offer Competitive salary of £35,000 £ 42,000 Company vehicle and fuel card Private medical insurance, life assurance, and employee assistance programme Enhanced annual leave and service awards Enhanced family-friendly benefits Ongoing training, professional development, and support toward industry memberships Regular social and team-building events Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry qualification) 25 years experience in a similar Site Engineer role, ideally within civils or utilities Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid site cards and full UK driving licence NRSWA Streetworks qualification (desirable) Team-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven with a strong sense of accountability
