We are hiring for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer whose main purpose is the mechanical design and detailing of high precision new parts, sub-assemblies and customer solutions for our Imaging & Analysis products. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have: BSc/BEng qualification in Mechanical engineering (or similar discipline) or equivalent qualification iMechE IEng Accredited Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years' experience in product development Demonstrable experience in:
Design of precise, tight tolerance mechanisms Tolerance analysis Design for long-term stability e.g. vibration, thermal effects Design for Regulatory Approval (EMC, MD, Safety, LVD) DfX Implementation Prototype build & assessment Experience documenting designs with detailed assembly instructions, including revision control of drawings and documents.
