MCS Group is proud to support our client in recruiting a Landowner Relations Advisor based in Belfast. This role is offered on a 3-year fixed-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation driving change in Northern Ireland's evolving energy sector.

Join our client's team and help shape sustainable energy projects that positively impact local communities and the environment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with rural communities, and supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be a trusted point of contact for landowners, helping to secure land rights, coordinate site access, and ensure clear communication throughout each project's lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage with landowners and stakeholders, providing clear information and support
  • Carry out land referencing and maintain accurate land ownership records
  • Negotiate land related agreements and arrange access for surveys
  • Provide agricultural and land management advice
  • Work closely with engineering, environmental and planning teams
  • Support community engagement activities
  • Use GIS tools to capture and analyse project data

Essential skills:

  • 12+ months in a customer facing or relationship building role
  • Knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs
  • Strong communication, organisation and collaboration skills
  • Competence in Excel and map reading
  • Full clean driving licence

Desirable:

  • Degree or experience in agriculture, surveying or related fields
  • Knowledge of land rights, wayleaves and easements
  • Experience with GIS tools
