Belfast (Hybrid) Duration: 30-Month Fixed Term Contract About the Role A leading Transmission System Operator is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the safe, secure, and reliable operation of Northern Irelands electricity system. This is a chance to work at the forefront of power system innovation, renewable integration, and market development. The Opportunity Within the Operations Directorate, you will contribute to real-time system security, engineering analysis, outage management, risk assessment, and the development of operational tools, standards, and policies.

You may also support:
* Grid and Network Code management
* Performance analysis of new and existing generation technologies
* Commissioning, testing, and compliance processes
* Market data assurance, modelling, and reporting These roles run to 2028 with potential for longer-term opportunities. About You
* Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 4 years experience in power system operations
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
* Excellent communication abilities, including explaining technical concepts clearly
* Organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Skilled in data analysis with strong attention to detail
