Location: Springvale, Northern Ireland

Salary: €26,000 + Share Scheme + Pension + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

Eligibility:
Must be in your penultimate year of study (unless enrolled in an integrated master’s program) to complete a 12‑month Industrial Placement commencing June 2026.

• Lead production employees to execute the assembly, test and paint processes within the manufacturing facility.
• Utilise the Caterpillar Production System (Lean Manufacturing) principles to deliver People, Quality, Velocity and Cost (PQVC) improvements and results.
• Work on real projects alongside experienced manufacturing engineers, gaining first‑hand experience of Lean Manufacturing.
• Support efficiency improvement initiatives at the facility and update production standard work documentation.

• Target to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree level in a relevant discipline:
  Automotive, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Control Systems, Electrical, Integrated Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Motorsport, Systems Engineering.

Stage One – Video Interview: Successful candidates are invited to a user‑friendly video interview. Successful candidates are then invited to the assessment centre.

Stage Two – Assessment Centre: Conducted on Tuesday 20th January (onsite at Springvale) evaluating teamwork, decision‑making, communication and problem‑solving.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
