About the Role

This is a part-time
, hybrid role for a Finance Assistant
, based at our offices in Belfast, Northern Ireland
. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the Finance team in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working on a part-time basis, the role focuses on ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, expenses, and payments, as well as maintaining clear and up-to-date financial records. The role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth running of the finance function and supporting the organisation’s continued growth across its projects and regions.

Please note:

this part-time position offers 16–20 hours per week, spread over five days. We encourage applications from everyone, including those re-entering the workforce or beginning their professional journey.

Responsibilities

  • Manage input of payment run / loading payments.
  • Issuing the bank statements.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Helping to produce cash flow summaries / budgets.
  • Liaising with suppliers, clients and other departments on payment queries.
  • Produce and maintain invoicing for Board Members.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English Language
  • Attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong all rounder with confidence in Microsoft 365 packages.
  • Problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping others.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Further education in Finance, Business or similar
  • Desirable experience in any of the following areas of:
    Accounting, Finance, Procurement
