The Opportunity

MCS Group is partnering with a successful accountancy practice in Portadown to recruit a driven and ambitious Mixed Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional eager to advance their career, offering clear progression paths and the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients.

The successful Tax Manager can expect to receive the following:

You will have a wide range of duties, such as;

• Manage tax compliance for a range of clients
• Prepare and review corporation and self assessment tax returns and computations
• Advise on tax planning opportunities
• Support advisory projects
• Liaise with HMRC and handle tax queries or investigations
• Collaborate with audit and accounts teams for integrated delivery
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical training
• Stay current on tax legislation and compliance updates

The ideal candidate will be:

• CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA with strong tax experience
• Practice background with 3-5 years+ experience
• Would consider qualified by experience ATT
• Strong technical and communication skills
