We provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of each resident, ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Our home accommodates 79 residents across three specialist units:
Residential Dementia, Dementia Nursing, and General/Frail Elderly Nursing. This allows us to offer a seamless continuum of care as needs evolve over time. Set in a scenic location with stunning views over Belfast, Bradley Manor offers a peaceful and uplifting environment for both residents and their families. You will pride yourself on providing high‑quality, person‑centred care to our residents, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued and supported. As part of our frontline team, you will play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day operations of the Home, assisting with activities of daily living ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will also provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a sense of compassion; an advocacy for the rights and preferences of our residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping them maintain a good quality of life.
- Help residents maintain independence where possible, encouraging involvement in activities.
- Assist with moving and handling residents using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Support the nursing and healthcare team by monitoring residents’ well‑being and reporting any changes in their health or behaviour.
- Follow care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

- A good standard of oral and written English.
- A non‑judgemental approach to others.
- Excellent communication skills with the compassion required to deliver high‑quality care to our residents.
- Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
- Educated to QCF/ NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in Health and Social Care preferred, although not essential as full training will be provided.
