Midwife

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Midwife to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high‑quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Antenatal & Postnatal Care:
  Conduct routine check‑ups, provide health education and support to women and their families.
• Labour & Birth Support:
  Assist during labour and delivery, ensuring the safety & well‑being of both mother and baby.
• Emotional & Physical Support:
  Offer continuous care & support throughout the birthing process.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with NMC.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Triage training and certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Mandatory training including but not exclusive to Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (desirable) Safety Intervention training (formerly MAPA) can be supplied by Direct Medics.
• Garda Vetting (cost covered by Direct Medics).
• Minimum 12 months post‑registration experience.
• Experience in high‑acuity environments and familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems (HSE/NHS or private).
