Senior QA Engineer

MCS Group is working with an established product-led company working in the renewable energy sector. This is a really exciting time to be joining a cutting-edge, forward-thinking business which has aims to grow considerably over the next year. They are entering a transition towards Continuous Delivery and are looking for a Senior QA to play a key role in embedding quality across engineering teams.

QA is central to their delivery strategy, and this role offers genuine influence over automation, tooling, and ways of working. You'll work alongside developers and product owners, helping move the organisation from local testing to modern, automated CI/CD practices.

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks (frontend & backend)
• Automate UI (cross-browser) and API testing
• Work with BDD approaches in agile teams
• Act as a senior voice for testing strategy and best practice
• Mentor and coach team members on quality standards
• Support and improve production releases

• Strong experience in QA
• Strong automation experience
• Proficiency in Java, C#, JavaScript/Type Script or Python
• Experience with tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright or Gauge
• REST API testing (Swagger or similar)
• Strong SQL skills
