Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Specialist | Principal Technology Recruiter | ☎️ | 📧 OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join a highly regulated organisation where reliability, security and compliance are critical. You will play a key role in designing, building and maintaining Azure-based platforms, enabling secure and automated delivery of applications and infrastructure.
This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable working within governance frameworks, understands audit requirements, and can balance speed with control.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
- Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM)
- Support and improve cloud platforms across core Azure services (compute, networking, storage, identity)
- Ensure platforms meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with engineering, security and governance teams
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to support operational resilience
- Contribute to documentation, standards and best practices
- Support audits and change management processes where required
- Strong hands‑on experience as an Azure Dev Ops / Cloud Engineer
- Deep knowledge of Azure services, including:
- Azure AD / Entra RBAC
- Proven experience with Azure Dev Ops (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform/Bicep)
- Experience working in a regulated environment (financial services, healthcare, government, etc.)
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Comfortable working in collaborative, multi‑disciplinary teams
- Experience with AKS and containerised workloads
- Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops practices
- Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS or similar frameworks
- Scripting experience (Power Shell, Bash, or Python)
