** Role Overview
** We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in TP ICAP’s technology transformation journey. You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between legacy systems and our modern target architecture. This is a hands-on role where you’ll quickly gain deep knowledge of our systems and products, translate business needs into clear technical specifications, and keep projects moving by removing obstacles and maintaining momentum.

To succeed, you’ll bring at least five years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services, and a strong understanding of both technical systems and business processes. You’ll combine analytical thinking with excellent communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. Experience in transformation or system migration projects is highly desirable, along with proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Office.

*** Develop a comprehensive understanding of legacy systems and target architecture to support modernisation initiatives.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify and resolve obstacles, ensuring smooth project delivery.
* Rapidly acquire knowledge of systems and products to provide accurate insights and recommendations.
* Document business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
* Secure stakeholder approvals and sign-offs to maintain alignment and clarity.
* Communicate effectively across teams, demonstrating deep understanding of systems and business needs.
* Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and deliverables.
* Manage multiple priorities under pressure, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting continuous improvement.
** Experience / Competencies
** Essential* Demonstrated and proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.
* Strong understanding of technical systems and business processes.
* Proven experience in transformation environments, including legacy-to-modern migrations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
* Experience working with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.

Desired
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience with JIRA and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Knowledge of financial markets and products.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Agile BA).
