Commercial Associate

Honeycomb is delighted to partner with one of the world's largest Insurance Brokers to recruit for a Commercial Associate to join their growing team. The role is full time, permanent and based in Belfast City Centre. The role comes with excellent opportunity for career progression.

Our client is one of the world's largest Insurance Brokers with office presence in over 100 locations worldwide. They have a large centre of excellence in Belfast, the second largest office outside of London. They are known for being a true leader in their field.

Typical duties for the role of Commercial Associate will include:

• Arrange placement of a broad range of commercial insurance risks within the wider market
• Deliver timely, tailored advice to clients to support their insurance requirements
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurance providers
• Uphold strong service standards by managing mid-term changes and client enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Oversee thorough administration of client files, ensuring cases are completed accurately and without delay
• Safeguard all sensitive client information at all times
• Adhere to all internal policies and established procedures
• Identifying the risk exposures and advise on insurance solutions in consultation with the Account Executive.

• Extensive account handling experience within the commercial sector
• Experience dealing with technical insurance issues
• Experience dealing with a diverse client base on risks of various sizes and complexity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people at all levels using a variety of communication channels
• CII qualified (or working towards exams)
