This role is mobile, so a full clean driving licence is a must have, as you will be required to travel across all Translink depots throughout the province.

Working Pattern
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Night shift
  • Five out of seven nights
  • 9pm to 4.30am

The Role
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
  • Maintain full working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the Line Manager after correct training
  • Report immediately any equipment fault, mark as faulty and do not use
  • Use safety signage at all times (e.g. wet floor signs) and inform customers where possible
  • Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy; store equipment safely at all times
  • Safe disposal of sharps such as needles and blades if necessary
  • Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by the client and Mount Charles

  • Basic statutory training: candidates should have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and to communicate with customers day-to-day
