The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust are seeking two reliable Domestic Assistants to join Edgcumbe Day Centre in East Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment within the premises.

Hours: 15 hours per week, 4pm – 7pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 3pm – 6pm.

Initially, this is a part – time, 3 month temporary position with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Main duties will include:

• Carrying out general cleaning and upkeep of the premises to required standards, including sanitising designated areas.
• Safely handling and disposing of waste in line with site procedures.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored correctly.
• Undertaking key holder responsibilities, including securing and locking the premises at the end of the day.
• Following all site policies, health and safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.

• Previous cleaning or domestic experience in a healthcare, residential, or similar environment (desirable but not essential).
• Willing to undergo an Access NI police check.
